Rotary Club of Glenwood Springs Awards $5,000 Grant to Huts For Vets
Glenwood Springs, CO — August 2025 — The Rotary Club of Glenwood Springs and Huts For Vets are proud to announce a continuation of their collaboration to promote the health of America’s veterans through the awarding of a $5,000 grant to support the mission of Huts For Vets.
Huts For Vets is a Colorado-based nonprofit dedicated to improving the mental health and well-being of U.S. veterans through wilderness therapy programs. By offering healing retreats in the Rocky Mountains, Huts For Vets provides veterans with the opportunity to reconnect with nature, build community, and find renewed purpose in their lives.
The Rotary Club of Glenwood Springs is an organization dedicated to uniting the people of Glenwood Springs, in partnership with the business community, to make our community as good as it can be for ourselves and for future generations.
“We are incredibly grateful to the Rotary Club of Glenwood Springs for their generous support,” said Erik Villasenor, Executive Director of Huts For Vets. “This funding will help us continue to deliver life-changing experiences to veterans who have given so much for our country. We have seen firsthand the positive impact our programs have on veterans’ mental health and resilience.”
